How to Reach the 2048 Tile

A steady roadmap to your goal.

Reaching 2048 comes down to maintaining your chain all the way through. Anchor your big tile in the corner and keep extending a descending chain beside it.

As you climb through 256, 512, and 1024, empty cells grow scarcer, so clear out small tiles unrelated to your chain ahead of time to keep some breathing room. Create two 1024 tiles, and one final merge completes your 2048.

Impatience is your biggest enemy. Don't rush a merge before it's ready — stay calm and keep your alignment intact until matching values meet at the end of the chain.
