With only 9 cells, 3×3 makes managing empty space absolutely critical. Just a few wrong moves and the board fills up fast, so you have to calculate every move carefully.
Great when you want a short, intense round. Reaching 2048 is extremely hard here, so a high score becomes the goal in itself.
